Data used by the application
Accounts store a username, a password hash, role, account status and creation / login dates. Wikis store the information submitted by their author. Sessions identify logged-in users and language choices. Optional remembered login uses a random token; only its hash and technical dates are stored in the database. Security controls use a per-account session revocation counter, temporary IP-derived rate-limit identifiers and an admin-action log. Wiki suspensions store a reason visible only to the author and administrators. Web-server or hosting logs may also be kept as specified by the operator.
Purposes and legal bases
The username and password are required to provide the account and wiki-management service under these terms. Other wiki sections are optional. Session, language and remembered-login data serve your requested functions. Security and abuse prevention serve the operator’s legitimate interest in protecting the service. The application does not include advertising or audience-tracking scripts.
Visibility and recipients
Published wiki information and the author’s username are visible to everyone. Draft content is available to its author; administrators can review wiki content through a private preview for moderation, including drafts and suspended pages. The operator and hosting providers can access data as needed to operate, protect and maintain the service. Credentials and login tokens are not public. If ISP testing is enabled, the browser contacts Globalping: that provider receives the visitor’s IP address and the tested address (including its path and query). Referia sends no account credentials, cookies or Referia page referrer in these API calls. Targets and measurement results are public on Globalping, including tests from private previews. Specific providers, hosting location and any international transfers must be identified by the operator in the legal information.
Retention
Account and wiki data remain until removal or an account-closure request is handled. Deleted wiki content is removed from the application database; separate hosting backups may retain copies for the period specified by the operator. Login sessions expire after two hours of inactivity. Remembered-login tokens expire after 30 days and are revoked on logout; the cleanup job removes expired tokens. Disabling an account, changing its password or signing out other devices invalidates its earlier sessions and removes all its remembered logins. An explicitly chosen language cookie lasts six months. Rate-limit files are temporary; log and backup retention must be specified in the additional information.
